Routes & coverage
- Global lanes with the UAE on one side of the shipment — either to the UAE or from the UAE. That includes Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa, the GCC region and Oceania.
- Our network is built around UAE inbound and outbound movement, so one side of the shipment must be the UAE. If you have a requirement outside that, contact us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
- Yes. Coverage runs in both directions — cargo arriving into the UAE and cargo departing from it — under the same coordinated process.
- Reach depends on the specific route and mode available at the time. Send us the origin and destination and we will confirm honestly whether it is within our network.
Modes & service scope
- Collection at the origin address, road transport, port or airport handling, the main sea or air leg, customs clearance, and final delivery to the destination address — under one agreement and one point of contact.
- Sea freight (FCL and LCL), air freight, and road freight, combined with customs clearance and warehousing where a shipment needs it.
- Yes. The full door-to-door scope is our default recommendation, but individual services such as customs clearance or warehousing can be arranged on their own.
- The coordination desk weighs your timing, budget and cargo characteristics and recommends the mode that fits — not the one that is easiest to sell. You can see how this fits into the wider process on our About page.
Pricing & the 5% comparison
- Share a comparable door-to-door quotation — same route, same scope, same service level — and Mizan aims to beat it by 5%, subject to applicable matching conditions.
- The quote you share needs to match on route, cargo scope and service level — for example, both quotes covering full door-to-door service rather than one covering only the main freight leg.
- No. Any range shown while you scope a shipment is an indicative estimate, not a quotation. An exact quotation is issued by our team after reviewing your details.
- Freight pricing depends on details that a form alone cannot fully capture — packing, timing, documentation and route conditions. Our quote flow collects your requirements first, then our team returns an exact, accountable number.
Customs & documentation
- Yes. Customs clearance is one of the stages in our coordinated process, handled by our team so you are not left chasing a separate broker.
- Typically a commercial invoice, packing list and any certificates relevant to the cargo. Our Resources page has a preparation guide and checklist to help you gather what is needed, and requirements are always confirmed per shipment.
- We can talk through common Incoterms such as EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP in general terms as part of scoping your shipment. The Resources glossary covers what each generally means.
Tracking & updates
- Use the tracking page to request a shipment update with your reference — your contact at Mizan will confirm the current status directly. A clearly labelled sample shipment on that page shows how updates will appear.
- Because a single named contact follows your shipment through each stage, they will reach out proactively if something affects timing, rather than leaving you to check a portal.
