Frequently asked
Sea freight, answered plainly.
- FCL (full container load) books an entire container for your cargo alone. LCL (less than container load) consolidates your cargo with other shippers' consignments inside a shared container, priced by volume or weight. The right choice depends on your volume and how time-sensitive the shipment is.
- No — dimensions and capacities in the explorer above are standard industry nominal reference figures. They vary by container owner and condition, and are not a guarantee for a specific booking. Actual stowage is confirmed per shipment.
- Typically a commercial invoice and packing list, details of the cargo (weight, volume, description), the readiness date, and consignee details. Depending on the goods, additional certificates or permits may apply — we confirm this against your specific cargo.
- Yes. Customs clearance and road delivery can be coordinated inside the same booking, so the container doesn't change hands into an unfamiliar provider at the quay.
- Cargo insurance options can be discussed as part of your quote. We don't assume cover is included by default — this is confirmed and agreed with you before booking.
- Routing is matched to your lane and cargo at the time of booking, including UAE gateways such as Jebel Ali. Specific vessel and port routing is confirmed per shipment, not fixed in advance.
